BASIC DEFINITIONS IN THE LAW

Personal Data: Any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person is information.

Processing of Personal Data:It is any kind of operation performed on data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, changing, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of personal data, either fully or partially by automatic means or non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.

Data Controller:It is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.
